Riding For A Cause
In 2003, Robby Robbins, the team's captain, wanted to find a way to use his athletic drive and zeal for Christ to reach out to the community and share the word of God. Joining with the Young Professionals at Bammel Church of Christ, they created the Traveling Light Christian Cycling Team. With 40 riders and volunteers, the team trained and raised over $6,000 for MS. The year was a spectacular showing for the new team.

Each year this team has stepped up to the challenge of raising more money for MS than the year before as well as reaching out to the community.

2008 will begin the sixth year for this dynamic team. As more and more funds are raised and new friendships are created, this team excels to surpass our previous accomplishments and really grow the team. Our outreach efforts are expanding and the team is becoming recognized throughout the riding community and the leaders of MS.
